As Part of Home 1996-2008 I hosted two dinner salons.

The Influence and Use of Craft in Contemporary Art
and
Home and Stuff: Design, Production, Consumption, & Disposal

I invited 3 guests to each who I believed would be interesting contributors to the discussion and asked each of them to invite an additional guests who they believed would also add to the topic/salon.

The dinners were casual buffet style, self-serve in the kitchen, dining and discussion in the living room. Participants were also invited to bring documentation to share.

The discussions were also casual. I emailed a few questions /thoughts to each of the participants beforehand that we could use as guide points if needed.

The dinners/discussions were recorded and video documented by Eliza Barrios and will be posted on the this page in spring of next year (2009).
