Delusion
Saw Laurie Anderson's Delusion last weekend. Very beautiful and haunting. Having lost my father not long ago, I was especially moved by the elements that were reflections on the death of her mother. The piece that has most stayed with me included the lines (something to the affect of): "You die three times. First, when your heart stops. Second, when they bury or cremate your remains. Third, the last time your name is spoken." Still brings tears to my eyes as I write this.
