Manifest Differently Opening Celebration on Clarion Alley

Mural in progress, collaboration between Megan Wilson (overall design / painting) and Kim Shuck (poem / frogs and snake in cutaways), part of Manifest Differently, Clarion Alley Mural Project, 2023

The past month and a half has been a whirlwind of activity - painting my new mural collaboration with poet/artist Kim Shuck, the opening celebration on Clarion Alley of Manifest Differently on September 23rd, Manifest Differently poetry readings at Book Castle (September 30) and the Beat Museum (October 7), and the opening for Adrian Arias’ Manifest Differently exhibition at ATA on October 8th. A very generative and inspiring month; and I’m grateful to have so many brilliant, creative, and community-minded people in my life. Community, and/or family … it’s the most important thing any of us can have, especially during such heavy and intense times. Strangers for Ancestors will return with my next my post reflecting on the past 11 days in Palestine/Israel.
